Alesana

Alesana (pronounced Alice-Anna) is my 3rd favorite band. They are a 6 piece post-hardcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina formed in 2004. They have released one EP, appeared on 7 compilations, released 2 full length albums, and have a new album to be released in early 2010.
They have three vocalists and three guitar players so their music is very varied and good sounding.The lyrics, written by Dennis and Shawn, are written cooperatively and find their influence in literature. On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax frequently makes allusions to Greek mythology, Where Myth Fades to Legend twists the plots of several tales of the Brothers Grimm, and The Emptiness is one constant story created by the two main vocalists.
I don't have a favorite song or album by them because all their songs are amazing. Their new album, which is going to be released 26th of January, 2010 has already two singles out on iTunes. Here is one single from the new album.. Enjoy :)
